Arrangements

I am going to look for some nice vases today. I hope I am lucky enough to find ones like these.

Yesterday was my last day of school at Parsons, My family will be here tomorrow night, and on Friday I will be a graduate. Wahoo!

I don't remember where I found these images, if someone does, please let me know. philippe munda I think?

Sending these off to San Fran for the show on friday. Feeling really good about the way the came out... I think I work best at night. The bottom two collages are made from the pages left after cutting out the textures I used for the top collage ... if that makes sense. The glitter is put into some of these shapes by cutting a door into a parallel universe.

Edward Weston

(b. 1186-1958)
Going through an old LIFE magazine looking for collage bits, I found "Nude on Sand Dune" in a short article about the Guggenheim fellowship he had just received (in 1937). Said to be one of the most influential photographers of the 20th century... I just found out about him yesterday. Better late than never.  His photographs are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen.

April 30 HERE AND THERE.

If you live or are going to be in the SF bay area next Friday it would be really cool if you went to this show! My friend Alberto has curated what I'm sure will be a super awesome show at the newly new gallery/art space place Garage Sale Project. I will be exhibiting some art along with other cool collage ladies. Wahoo!

mmmmmug

Lost this mug to someone else quicker than me. It wasn't even on ebay. It was on etsy, just sitting there. bummertown. would have been nice to get this one. No, it would have been a dream come true. I searched on ebay and found another and now I have it! I love this mug! I really, really do. Using it every day.

Goodbye Hello, perfect mug!
